Approximately 140 citizens of the municipality Kocani attended the fourth forum session of the Community Forums Programme, which took place on February 19 at the “Kiril i Metodij” elementary school.

 A total of 12 draft concepts were presented in the session, and the Forum approved their further development.
  “Mountain Accommodation Facility”, aimed at better cooperation and socialization of citizens, is a draft concept that would help improve their quality of life.
  “Bad Condition of the City Stadium Nikola Mantov" includes reconstruction of the main field, construction of auxiliary fields, and reconstruction of the bleachers.
  “Reconstruction of the City Sports Hall” is a draft concept for renovation of the floor in the sports hall, repairing of lights and lockers, reconstruction of toilets, and putting seats on the bleachers.
  “Insufficient Utilization of the City Pool” includes increasing availability of the pool, to be used in other periods of the year, and not just in the summer.
  “Asphalt Road to Dabot" is a draft concept aimed at ensuring better utilization and attracting more visitors to the Natural Park Dabot in the village Beli. 
  “Lack of a Socializing Facility” involves reconstruction of a facility and its redesigning in order to reduce marginalization of youth and to strengthen NGO capacity.
  “Lack of Green Areas on the Outskirts of the Town” involves, among other things, construction of recreational green areas, parks, and increased information flow.
  “Lack of Fences and Equipment in Educational Facilities” is a draft solution arising from the need for better security of the children during their stay in the schools and kindergartens.
  “Lack of Drainage in the Municipality Kocani” is a project proposal that involves solutions to improve the current foul water sewage.
  “Bad Road Infrastructure in the Orizari Settlement”, with draft solutions for paving of ASNOM Street.
  “Pedestrian Safety Under Threat”, with a draft concept for repairing the pavement on Roza Petrova Street in Kocani, aimed at reducing the number of car crash victims.
  “Construction of a Regional Retirement Home” is a draft concept which was approved by the Forum, even though a working group was not created in the previous session.
 The draft concept for “Lack of Public Baths” will be included in the recommendations to the Municipality.
