Four project concepts presented in Bogovinje

Approximately 80 residents of the municipality Bogovinje attended the fifth forum session of the Community Forums Programme, which took part on February 4 at the Las Vegas Restaurant. Four project concepts were presented in the session, developed by citizens in the working groups between the two forum sessions which develop the ideas proposed by the Forum's participants.     "Construction of sidewalks on the main road Skenderbeg and vertical and horizontal signalization", a project aimed at constructing a 1,400 m long sidewalk that will cover several villages. The total draft budget is MKD 2,454,000.     The second project concept, "Installation of central heating in the Elementary School Dervish Cara", includes installing central heating in all classrooms, hallways, offices and other facilities, thus replacing the traditional heating method. The total draft budget for this project is MKD 2,700,000. "Toilets in the Elementary School Abdul Frasheri in the village of Rakovec and in the Elementary School Liria in the village of Zherovjane" is a project concept aimed at improving hygiene and health conditions in the two elementary schools. The draft budget for this project is MKD 1,250,000. The fourth project concept presented at the session was "Purchase of a waste collection vehicle for the public utility company Shar", aimed at improving the services of the public utility company. The total draft budget for this project is MKD 3,600,000. In addition to Bogovinje, this phase of the Community Forums Programme is taking place in Berovo, Strumica, Debar, Mogila-Novaci, Radovish-Konche, Krushevo, Gostivar, Aerodrom, and Makedonski Brod. The budget for the Programme in municipality Bogovinje amounts to MKD 6 million, of which MKD 1.5 million denars are a contribution from the municipality, and MKD 4.5 million are a donation by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
