The session presented four project proposals, to be developed into specific projects by the final, seventh session, when the residents of the municipality will vote on the priorities.
 "I appreciate the Forum work because it confronts various interests of citizens through democratic debates and determines priorites and projects through discussion," said the Mayor of Gostivar, Rufi Osmani, at the beginning of the session.
He added that this type of democratic debate would also be used in the future determining of priority public utility projects in Gostivar.
The Forum was also attended by the Head of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), Tatiana von Steiger Weber, who expressed her satisfaction from the Forum in that municipality.
"The forums are a form of cooperation from SDC in the direction of support for Macedonia in the processes of its European integration", said the SDC representative, adding that the Forum was aimed at civil society strengthening.
The presentation of the project proposal "Carefree child" included the objectives, that is internal reconstruction and purchasing equipment for the Cvetovi kindergarten, and redesiging and landscaping of the courtyard of the Prolet kindergarten.
The project proposal "Tradition" involves reconstruction and further construction of an existing facility, as well as furnishing the space. All presentations included expected results from the projects as well as their sustainability.
"European school" is the title of the project proposal specifically aimed at replacing 93 windows, 2 entrance doors, 18 inner doors and a crossbeam in the technical high school. The fourth project proposal, "Vardar riverbank", includes horticultural design and modernising of the right bank of Vardar RIver in the municipality, as well as modernisation and reconstruction of the left bank of Vardar.
