Proposal – solutions at the third session Mogila - Novaci

The third session took place on 23 November at the restaurant “Kolta” in the village Mogila and was attended by 106 citizens from the municipalities Mogila and Novaci. The objective of this session is to put emphasis on solutions for the problems that were identified and finalized at the second session. The presentation of the analysis prepared by the work groups at the second Forum was followed by formation of new work groups that will work on the preparation of the projects. The session offered four groups of proposed solutions in accordance to the problems and the work groups that were established at the previous Forum. The first group comprises of: procurement of waste containers for each family, waste containers that will be positioned at public and frequented locations, garbage collection vehicle, wheel loader, putting into use the public utility companies and collecting the payment of the bills.   The second group comprises of: clearing the landfills, dislocation of the illegal landfills, determining the location for a collective landfill and selecting the organic waste and composting. The proposal – solutions of the third group read as follows: selection of the remaining of the waste, initiatives for production of fertilizers, education of the population on fertilization and active inspectorate.  The fourth group relates to campaigns, educational meetings, debates and public forums, workshops, print material and media coverage. The total budget of the municipalities Mogila and Novaci amounts to eight million denars. The municipality participates with two millions and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation donates four million denars. Alongside Mogila-Novaci, the Community Forums Programme is implemented in Berovo, Debar, Strumica, Radovis-Konce, Bogovinje, Krusevo, Gostivar, Aerodrom and Makedonski Brod.
