The third forum session in the municipality of Gostivar was held on 25 November at the restaurant “Dede Beg” in the presence of 81 citizens.

 The session offered two groups of proposed solutions in accordance to the problems and the work groups that were established at the previous Forum.   During the following sessions these solutions will be transformed into concepts and project proposals.
As part of the problem group Public area, the citizens of Gostivar offered five proposals – solutions: Construction of sports grounds in the rural environments, construction of the river quay, extension of the boulevards, arranging the school yard at the primary school “Kemal Ataturk” and arranging the yards of the kindergartens. 
The second group of proposed solutions relates to the problem group of Public facilities and premises and consists of the following proposals: Construction of the classrooms and supplying school equipment 0 secondary schools, supplying equipment for different classrooms and sanitary equipment and windows, construction of premises for inoculation and immunization and children’s rooms at the nurseries and supplying equipment for the rooms.
Total of seven forum session will be held as part of the forum process in Gostivar. It involves proposals, identification and finalizing the priorities for improving the everyday life of the citizens, proposed solutions, project proposals and concepts and concrete results.
The citizens are the main stakeholders in the process and the take active participation in the Forums, alongside with the administration that needs to present their activities in a transparent and responsibly present their activities.
The total budget of the municipality of Gostivar amounts to six million denars. The municipality participates with two millions while four millions are donated by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
