Defining the problems in Radovish-Konce

The second forum session held in the municipality of Radovis at the restaurant “Sampion" on 5 November was attended by 103 citizens from Radovis and Konce. The topic of the session was the assessment of the problems in accordance to the topic “Water supply and waste waters” selected by the citizens of the two municipalities.  The identification of the problems was carried out at the working tables by coordination of the priority problems and creation of two problem groups - “Water supply” and “Collection systems and wastewater treatment”.  Among others, the first group includes the lack of water in the municipalities Radovis and Konce, low water quality, providing water supply for the populated areas of Sturovo and Smilanci, regulation of the town park, the Panorama location and the  obsolescence of the water supply grid.  The second group includes the obsolescence of the wastewater system, the lack of sewage in the village Voislavci, the lack of treatment plant in the municipalities Radovis and Konce and the problem with atmospheric waters, the downpours associated with the lake Mantovo.  The session also founded groups that will carry out field research and problem analysis.  The total budget of the Programme for the municipalities Radovis and Konce amounts to eight million denars. The municipality participates with two millions while six millions are donated by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).  At this stage, the intermunicipal forum where the joint discussion with the aim of solving problems of the two municipalities is its primary characteristic, in addition to the above mentioned municipalities is also organized in the municipalities Mogila and Novaci.
