 Approximately 80 residents of municipality Krusevo participated in the second forum session of the Community Forums Programme, which took place on 28 October at the Retirement Home Krusevo.
Four groups of issues were identified by the residents of this municipality, under the main topic of Utility Infrastructure – Landfills, waste collection and transport; Water supply and removal of waste/fecal water in the municipality Krushevo; Road infrastructure in the municipality, and Urban infrastructure.
The representative of the local self-government, Tatjana Hasanu, explained what kinds of utility infrastructure are needed and where, and what the citizens could propose - landfill construction and maintenance, placement and maintenance of traffic signs, parks, greenery, recreational spaces, construction of a market, and other issues.
The working tables created according to the sub-topics will do research and develop draft concepts, based on which projects will be developed which the residents of Krushevo will choose in order to improve their daily lives.
In addition to Krushevo, this phase of the Community Forums Programme is implemented in Berovo, Debar, Strumica, Makedonski Brod, Gostivar, Aerodrom, Mogila Novaci, Radovis Konce, and Bogovinje.
