A total of 76 residents of Radovish and Konche attended the fourth forum session, which took place on January 21 at the Shampion Restaurant in Radovish.
The Forum participants presented four concept proposals developed according to the priorities identified in the previous sessions in the two municipalities.The first project proposal is "Utilization of rainwater as technical water and division of regions of settlements accodring to altitude", with a draft budget estimated at MKD 8,800,000. The objective is to provide a sufficient quantity of quality water and to improve public health in the municipalites Konche and Radovish. "Campaign for proper water use" is a concept proposal that involves distribution of leaflets, TV campaign, radio campaign, and lectures by academic experts in the field. The total draft budget amounts to MKD 600,000 and its direct and indirect beneficiaries include pre-school children, pupils, high-school student, and all residents of the municipalities Radovish and Konche. The Forum also presented the third concept proposal, namely "Technical equipment for maintenance of the sewage water collection network", with a draft budget of EUR 135,000. ![]() The objective of this project is to provide high-quality environment, protect the soil from fecal contamination, etc. Some of the proposals involve the purchase of a combined sewage vehicle for municipality Radovish and purchase of a tractor with a high-pressure tank for municipality Konche. The last concept for a project proposals is "Wastewater treatment and wastewater collection systems", with a total draft budget of MKD 6,500,000. This project is aimed at ensuring proper treatment of wastewater, production of healthy agricultural products, utilization of purified water, etc. The proposed solutions include development of technical documentation, a feasibility study on wastewater treatment, development of concepts and projects for collection systems, technical control (review), etc. The next forum session is scheduled for February 18. |
