With a total of 54 votes, the selected project was voted by the residents of Strumica to be funded with MKD 6,900,000 from the Municipality's budget and from a donation by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
 "The amphitheatre will be available to all citizens, youth, NGOs etc., and it is expected to be finished by the end of the next summer," said the Mayor of Strumica, Zoran Zaev. He added that he hopes that all projects will be realized within the frames of the municipal budget.
 The participants in the budget forum, structured into nine working tables, voted for seven projects within six development programs of the Municipality, which were debated in the previous two months. They include:
Paving of Leblebidziska Street with natural granite, Procurement and installation of signs and streetnameplates and street numbers on all residential buildings and houses; Construction of a portion of a peripheral channel; Construction of an open amphitheathre - summer stage; Sewage in v. Murtino; Sewage in v. Kosturino, and Reconstruction of the Water Supply in v. Bansko.
"A well managed process can lead us to a good result, but participation in the process is just as important," said Vladimir Milcin, Executive Director of FOSIM, the organization implementing the Programme in Strumica.
He hopes that the project will be realized quickly and that this will become part of the Municipality Strumica's good practice.
The Session also reviewed the 10 proposals from citizens to the municipal administration from the previous session, which will be submitted to the municipal administration in the form of proposals or recommendations. The Forum introduced specific programs which are pending and can be finished by the end of 2010.
The total budget of the Community Forums Programme in the Municipality Strumica amounts to MKD 6 million, of which MKD 2 million are funds of the municipality and MKD 4 million are a donation from SDC.
