  Five project proposals were presented at the fifth forum session in Sveti Nikole which was held within the frames of the Community Forums Programme on 30 April in the meeting hall of the  Municipality building, attended by 72 residents of the municipality.

 They read as follows: “Open door – Youth center”, “Take up sports and be happy”, “Step forward to employment”, “Different yet equal” and “Reach a hand”.
    The projects were presented by representatives of the work groups which convened in between the forum session and elaborated the project-proposals supported by the Forum, with respect to the topic of social inclusion.
    The “Working tables" on which the municipality, the business sector, non-governmental organization etc, as well as representatives from education and the Center for social work, held debates on sustainability and legitimacy of the five project-proposals.
    With the aim of describing the social component, the representative of the work group for the first project pointed that the accountability for the project and the organization of different activities has been taken over by the young people, primarily those coming from rural environment.
    The 10% participation by the Association of farmers was elaborated with their involvement in adaptation of the sites, primarily with materials.
    The work groups of the next three project proposals have provided arguments concerning their positions regarding their legitimacy, while the concise and precise arguments of the project proposal “Step towards employment” were also evident.
    The project proposal “Reach a hand” had the longest presentation, primarily by the representatives of the Social Work Center who elaborated on its legitimacy.
    According to them, this Center should not have only one function, it should also accept persons who are victims of domestic violence as another of its activities.
    The designers of this project proposal have assessed that it is important to have facilities, expert services, equipment and programme, while sustainability shall be responsibility of the municipality.
    Moreover, the organization implementing the Programme in the municipality of Sveti Nikole, The Center for Institutional Development CIRA, has pointed out to the fact that the projects need to be precise, to establish the target groups, services and property-rights affairs in order to facilitate their additional realization.
    The total budget of the Community Forums Programme in municipality of Sveti Nikole amounts to eight million denars. Six millions are donated by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) while the municipality participates with two millions of denars.
    Apart from the municipality of Sveti Nikole, at this stage, the Community Forums Programme is being carried out in Novo Selo, BItola, Resen, Dolneni, Saraj, Berovo and Kocani.
