  The fifth forum session which took place in Saraj within the frames of the Community Forums Programme was held on 30 April in the municipality meeting hall in Saraj in the presence of 60 citizens.

  The work groups presented nine project proposals at the session. The citizens were given the opportunity to familiarize with the objectives, activities, sustainability, projected time frame for the realization of the project and the project budgets. 
    The focus of the first project proposal was the construction and equipping of a sports playing ground in the primary school of village Kopance. As proposed by the citizens, the workgroup elaborating this project was added with several more members in order to prepare the final projects for construction and equipping of sports playing grounds for the villages of Boyane and Leskarce by the time of the next session.
    The necessity for construction of sports playing grounds in these villages was elaborated by the representatives of the three work groups which prepared the project proposals for construction of sports playing grounds in the primary schools of the villages Lubin, Matka and Radosha.
    The representative of the work group which prepared the project proposal for Reconstruction and equipping of the sports hall in the village Kondovo described the condition of the sports hall and the activities that need to be taken as well as the necessary budget.
    Committee was set up to establish whether the central government has plans of constructing sports hall in  the village Dolno Svilare as a result of the reaction of the citizens after the presentation of the project proposal for Reconstruction and equipping of the sports playing grounds in the above mentioned village.
    The project proposal for equipping the association of retired persons with sports equipment was also presented at the session. It had the lowest budget of 67 540 denars.
    No budget was proposed for the project proposal for reconstruction of the House of culture in the village of Bukovik and Repair of the public paraphernalia and raising the awareness for their safeguarding and proper use. 
     The following, sixth forum session is scheduled for 27 May.
    The selected projects will be financed with a budget of eight million denars. Two millions will be provided by the municipality of Saraj while six millions will be provided by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
