  Total of five project proposals were presented at the fifth forum session in the municipality of Dolneni within the frames of the Community forums programme on 22 April. The session was organized in the restaurant “M” in the village Lazani and was attended by 71 citizens.

 Abdula Caneski, resident of the village Debreniste and participant of the Forum said – “I am satisfied with the quality of the project presentations, while the biggest priority would have to be the regulation of the riverbed”.
    The presentation of the project proposal for solid waste management and education of the population for strengthening of the public consciousness had presented the problem of lack of dumpsters in the settlements as well as the non-existence of organized collection of waste. 
    The work group has produced a draft budget of 5.722.000 denars, the amount of funds projected as the costs for realization of this project proposal.
    The work group has made an estimate of 3.981.043 as the necessary amount for the realization of the solution of the water supply problem which is the second project proposal.
    This project would solve part of the drinking water problems in the village Zitoste and the surrounding villages, since at this moment, the reservoir is connected to the regional watersupply system which is more than 30 years old.
    The regulation of the riverbed in Crniliste would cost 4,120.000 denars, in accordance with the draft budget which was prepared by the working group of the project.
    The presentation included the issue of inflow of the run-ff precipitation in the river at the settlement, where the torrential rains create alluviums which prevent the free flow of the run-off waters.
    The resume of the project proposal for improving the conditions for sports has emphasized the problem with lack of sports playgrounds which the students and the members of the two football clubs face.
    The fifth project proposal for preparedness against fires in the municipality Dolneni was presented by a representative from the municipality. According to the representative, especially during the summer period the municipality faces large scale fires for which they are not prepared to act efficiently.
    The municipality does not have a fire fighting service at its disposal and it does not own fire extinguishing equipment. Until now, the assistance has always arrived from the fire fighting service in Prilep.
    The total draft budget for the realization of this project is 6.600.000 denars.
    Vasko Ilioski, resident of the village Novoselani said – “I am satisfied with all of the presentation, however, thi biggest priority would have to be the solud waste management project.”
    By using the Community forum programme, the citizens of municipality Dolneni will decide on the priorities for social and economic development of the municipality and on the activities which can be implemented in order to improve the conditions in the local community.
