Approximately 80 citizens of Berovo attended the third forum session which took part on January 28, in the sports hall of the Dedo Ilo Malesevski elementary school.

 The participants in the session, which is taking place within the framework of the Community Forums Programme, took time to debate with great enthusiasm and dedication and to jointly identify problems and offer solutions.
     “We have problems which are part of our everyday life and are a priority, but I am a fan of sports and cultural events, so I would give priority to sports fields and the multipurpose hall,” said Antonio Dvojakovski, citizen of Berovo municipality.
    The pre-established working groups, in accordance with the Forum topic, reported on the proposed problems by citizens. Reports were delivered by the working groups on infrastructural problems in public institutions, on public spaces and on waste water.
     “The organization is great, as are my expectations of such a Forum,” said Mirjana Pecurovska, a resident of Rusinovo.

    According to retiree Aleksandar Mehandziski, “the municipality should contribute to the implementation of the Programme” and help “make this a better place to live in.”
    The total budget of the Programme in the municipality Berovo is MKD 8 million, of which MKD 2 million are provided by the municipality, while MKD 6 million are a donation by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
