  The third forum session, which took place at the Elpida Karamandi elementary school, was attended by approximately 80 citizens who made presentations about the problems that they considered of high priority.

Three really good presentations, made by the citizens, were seen and heard at the session, as part of the Communiy Forums Programme.
    The first one was about the tourist promotion of the municipality of Bitola that the citizens think is lacking, and that in the future more work should be done to better present the municipality to tourists. The main problems identified here included – lack of tourist capacity, lack of a summer stage on Tumbe Kafe, lack of respect for the work of the Manaki Brothers, as well as underdeveloped infrastructure in Tumbe Kafe.
    The second presentation spoke about the lack of facilities for sports and recreation, where more attendtion should be paid to children’s parks, repairs of sports fields, bigger number of closed sports facilities in the city, etc.

    The third presentation or problem, that the Forum identified as high priority, was the unsatisfactory level of communal and public services where emphasis was put on improving the main waterworks network and paving the roads in rural communities.
    The working groups based on problems were agreed upon in the third forum session, while in the next, fourth session, the projects are expected to be selected, in which the detailed analys of the problem would help. The problem analysis will be developed and presented by the citizens.
    In the new cycle, the Community Forums Programme will include seven other municipality in the addition to the municipality of Bitola, namely Resen, Novo Selo, Berovo, Sveti Nikole, Kocani, Dolneni, and and Saraj.
